THIS IS WHAT WE OFFER

We capture all you cine film and transfer it to our editing suite - we then edit to remove any damaged, corrupted or non-emulsion film - if any of the film has turned red or blue we add a b&w filter so the film can be viewed we add an opening and closing title as standard.

We accept visual material for transfer, conversion & copying on the understanding that the copyright of any material is owned by the customer and the customer warrants that the transfer, conversion or copying of their material will not result in any breach of copyright. Domestic cine film can contain footage of young children - we have CRB Enhanced Disclosure clearance.   Utmost care is taken at all times to ensure that your materials are returned to you in their original condition. In the unlikely event of loss or damage, compensation will ONLY be paid at the current market stock FILM / VHS value of the lost or damaged stock. We are NOT able to process material of an explicit nature.

What are we looking for?

The Archive is searching for "MOVING PICTURES" of life and work in the South East of England from the 1890's to the present day.  Home movies, family films, documentaries, newsreels, features, promotional & advertising films, whether professional or amateur, whatever the date, all contribute to a rich pictorial representation of the 20th and 21th century.

What can you do?

If you have film, or know of its existence elsewhere, do please contact the Film Archive, this can be done via JMC Video Productions who have been appointed the collectors of this film. Film may be donated as a gift, deposited on long term loan, or lent for copying. We will, where possible, provide you with a VHS copy. We will respect the wishes of all donors and depositors and observe all copyright. PLEASE remember, ALL films are potentially of archive interest

 if you act now we can ensure the survival of your remaining regional history.
