This was filmed by John Holton© who was a navigator with the RAF in 1956

Compilation of 8mm cine film taken by RAF navigator John Holton who was stationed at West Malling Airfield 1956 - includes - Village scenes starting at the train station and then to the High Street and various places within the village - Meteors taking off from the airfield and flying over Eastbourne - to the French Coast Cap Griz Nez landing back at West Malling - RAF Sports Day at the airfield - Annual event Battle of Britain with various aircraft landing and flying by and finally a few shot of the Bristol Brigand which was used to train navigators. Added in 2006 are shots from film found in John's loft of two airmen racing their Sunbeam Alpine cars around the perimeter road of the airfield.  This DVD is only available in PAL on DVD-R

West Malling Airfield Memorial - Unveiling and Dedication Ceremony - Sunday 9th June 2002

We are delighted to have been invited to film the West Malling Airfield Memorial Group official unveiling ceremony of the memorial granite panels and sculpture of the "Running Airman" to commemorate the history of West Malling Airfield and the heroic deeds of the men that served there.

  The unveiling was attended by more that 400 people including many dignitaries.

Isle of Eigg

A Jewel in the Hebridean Crown

    The Isle of Eigg is an incredible island with the Sgurr dominating the southern end.

    The Geology alone is fascinating. The various lava flows exposed in many parts of the island

    telling their own story. The fossilised remains of a plesiosaur and other reptiles and fish,

    as well as oysters, mussels and other invertebrates have been found on the island.

    Eigg is a haven for wild life and birds in particular a pair of golden eagles.

    Along with the sandy beaches Eigg off the West coast of Scotland

    really is a fascinating island and well worth a visit.
