Kent grouped schools PFI project

The project contains six secondary schools around the County who have received funding under the Governments Private Finance Initiative (PFI) scheme to rebuild/refurbish their school buildings. In total Kent County Council successfully secured £82 million of PFI funding for the project. Over 85% of buildings across the project replaced with new purpose built buildings to ensure that learners have access to modern teaching facilities fit for the delivery of education in the 21st Century.

The schools that will benefit under the project are:

Aylesford School Sports College, Maidstone Kent - Ellington School for Girls, Ramsgate Kent

Hugh Christie Technology College - Tonbridge Kent - Holmesdale Technology College - Snodland - Kent

The Malling School, East Malling Kent - The North School, Ashford Kent

Digital Filming, once the domain of top studios, is now available to the discerning. Digital pictures and sound are far superior to analogue recordings; there is no quality loss of picture in editing or copying, therefore the picture you watch is as good as the camera original.
